In the early 1800s citrus trees were brought over and planted by convict settlers, a true testament to the link between history and the flavours we know and love today. That heritage threads directly into the heart of our Citrus Gin, a spirit that has become an essential part of the revived Clyde Mill site. It was one of the first gins crafted by owners John and Annie during the early development of the distillery, capturing both the history of the region and their vision for its future.
This gin is bright, aromatic, and unapologetically vibrant. Grapefruit leads the charge with its bold, vivacious character, delivering a lively citrus punch that defines the profile. Mandarin follows with gentle sweetness and soft floral undertones, adding warmth and roundness to the sharper grapefruit edge. Subtle lifts of lemon highlight through the background, contributing freshness and a clean, brightness that keeps the palate lifted.
