Clyde Mill Whisky Launch 2026

Join us at Clyde Mill Distillery for an evening celebrating the next chapter in our whisky story — the public launch of our new bottle design and the release of our latest expression, the Preview Series Tawny Finish.

Crafted within the walls of our heritage-listed 1823 flour mill and revived by the Ramsay family, Clyde Mill’s whiskies reflect the character and enduring spirit of the Tasmanian Highlands. The Preview Series captures a rare and unrepeatable moment in our early years — spirit distilled onsite between 2019 and 2021, released as true single-cask expressions and a single triple-cask blend.

The Tawny Finish is a marriage of two exceptional bourbon and apera barrels, finished in a unique Dutschke Wines tawny cask. Expect dried fruit, toasted nuts, soft spice, and the unmistakable influence of slow maturation in our cool, high-altitude bond stores — paired with a menu created by our chef Andy.

Tasting Options

Choose your experience at checkout:

Connoisseur Session — Led by Lucy O’Brien. A detailed, technical tasting exploring production decisions, cask influence, and the finer points of the Tawny Finish.

Beginner Session — Led by Mark Nicholson. A warm introduction to whisky: a little history, how single malt is made, and how to begin your own whisky journey.

Non-tasting — Enjoy the full evening and dinner without the guided tasting.
