Go behind the scenes of our working distillery. Walk through the original water-powered mill and discover the craft of whisky making.
Tours run at 10:00am and 2:30pm, by appointment only.
Tours take approximately 45 minutes and include a guided experience through the historic flour mill and distillery.
Also open daily 11–21 June (Dark Mofo) and 1–9 August (Tasmanian Whisky Week).

Tasting
Sample our range of premium Tasmanian spirits in the very place they are made. From bold whiskies to bright seasonal gins, each tasting is a chance to take your time and explore the range.
Winter tasting hours (1 June – 24 September):
Mill Tasting Room: Monday to Thursday – 11am to 4pm, available by appointment only
Restaurant: Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 11am to 4pm, walk-ins welcome, bookings recommended

Clyde Mill Distillery & Kitchen is located at 254 Nant Lane, Bothwell, in Tasmania’s picturesque Central Highlands — just a one-hour scenic drive from Hobart and under two hours from Launceston, making it an easy and rewarding day trip.
The drive follows the Midland Highway before turning toward Bothwell on Highland Lakes Road, with access straight to the property. Free on-site parking is available for cars, caravans and small coaches.
