This Father’s Day, however you’d like to spoil Dad, we’ve got a seat for him up here in the Highlands. Join us across the weekend for lunch, dinner, or both: Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September, the big day itself. Our Sunday 11am lunch sitting is now fully booked, but we’ve still got room at 4pm, plus Saturday lunch and dinner.
Kick the weekend off with a relaxed lunch for Dad, in our kitchen at the foot of the valley. It’s our regular Mill Kitchen menu, built on produce from around the district, with a few Father’s Day specials added to the board. No need to commit to a set menu, just come in and order as you normally would.
Our dedicated Father’s Day Dinner. This is a set three course menu, available for the Saturday evening sitting only. Not the same as our lunch service, and not offered any other time across the weekend.
Bring Dad in for an evening built around great food, good company, and a little bit of spoiling. Our seasonal three-course menu features the best of Tasmanian produce, much of it sourced close to home in the Clyde River Valley, from Southern Ocean tuna carpaccio to 24hr braised Nant Estate lamb ribs, finishing with a sticky date pudding that needs no introduction.
And because it’s his day, Dad gets a complimentary dram on arrival.

Sunday 6th is Father’s Day itself, right as the Highlands start easing toward spring. Our 11am–4pm sitting has now sold out, but there’s still room at the later sitting from 4pm, which suits families who’d rather take their time over the afternoon.
