Located beside the Clyde River in our restored 1825 flour mill, our Single Cask releases represent the pinnacle of our selected cask range. Matured in a solitary barrel, each expression reflects our terroir; pure water, unique copper and the clean Highland air that shapes our craft. Through careful sensory analysis, every cask is drawn to the strength that reveals its most expressive character.
This Apera cask begins with indulgent golden syrup richness, caramelised raisins and warm stone fruit lifted by toasted oak. The palate is lush and buttery, brightened by flashes of marmalade, greengage and crisp pear. A subtle herbaceous thread builds toward the finish, joined by hints of fresh tobacco and allspice, leaving a layered, quietly complex impression.
